Biography

Quinn Pagona aims to present work of alternative interactions, twisted anthropomorphic figures, and sublime environments founded from her attempts to form narratives as a method of understanding the wide arrange of ways humanity interprets living, dying, and reality. Through this artistic exercise, she hopes to convey how we are all much more alike than we are different, as well as the altruistic necessity that is having mercy for others. Inspired emotionally of works and stories telling of individual and/or group values, ethics, and reactions in history and archaeology from all periods and places, she explores how we can comprehend varying convictions of purpose through reading, observing, and listening. She encourages us as viewers to explore our similarities with her characters and how we may relate to them rather than defaulting to juxtaposition, as we may often initially do.
