The Bachelor of Art Education in Visual Art Education is a four-year, 125-6 credit hour degree program emphasizing a balance of studio, art history, and education courses taught by experts in their fields.
Drawing on current research in the field, the Visual Art Education (V.A.E.) program prepares art teachers with strong conceptual and practical skills that lead to success as educators and leaders. V.A.E. collaborates with the School of Education to provide classroom and teaching experiences in area schools and community settings. Students are well prepared to be successful art educators and graduates have a very high job placement rate.
