Kelly Clark

Lecturer in Printmaking

Kelly ClarkKelly John Clark lives and works in Lawrence, Kansas, where he earned his Masters Degree in Printmaking in 2006. Before arriving in Lawrence, he attended the University of Texas in Austin, where he completed his Bachelor's in Fine Art in 2002. After finishing graduate school, Kelly taught for two years in the Printmaking Department at the Kansas City Art Institute, where he instructed students from all areas of the school in a variety of approaches to traditional and alternative printmaking. Though he is no longer faculty there, he still attends occasional critique sessions as a guest critic.

When he is not teaching, Kelly maintains an active studio practice from his home and co-manages Wonder Fair Gallery / Shop / Studio in downtown Lawrence. Additionally, he has organized and participated in a number of trade portfolios and group exhibitions, including 'This Process Cannot Save Us' at the 2008 Southern Graphics Conference in Richmond VA, 'Draw' at the Soo Visual Arts Center in Minneapolis MN, 'Wild Reserve' at the Paragraph Gallery in Kansas City MO, and 'Plan-t-s Not Included' at the 2010 MAPC Conference.
